'Many Winds' Herrera

Eric
‘Many Winds’ Herrera
whose heritage includes that of Blackfeet
Indian, European Hispanic and German. As a
musician, his talents span brass, string,
percussion and flute instruments. As a
performing artist, the Native American flute is
his most heart-felt talent and considers the
play a responsibility and an honoring of his
Native American heritage. Through his music, his
intent is to tell the Native American story and
to enrich the lives of those who hear it. “The
kindred spirit of creativity I share with Price
Berryman is a true testimony of brothers in
music”.
Personal Note:
The Native American flute is both spiritual and
story telling. The most traditional of Native
American flutes are hand crafted by true
artisans and are made of the highest quality
soft and hard woods. Their beauty is celebrated
though both sight and serenity of sound. Each
musical piece has purpose of story, whether for
courtship, celebration, spiritual intent, or to
honor someone’s memory. The native flute is
intended to take the listener on a journey
though nature and heritage.
